Best hair salon in Miami. I've been going to Destiny for almost a year now, and she really can do it all. I consistently get compliments on my blowouts, and she absolutely killed it with the blonde balayage. I would recommend her and Stubborn Hair a million times over.

Long overdue review: Eddie is a hair boss and curly hair king. He takes his time to listen to what you need and makes it happen. The team is awesome filled with really nice talented people. Come here for good vibes and even better hair. ;)

I had my first ever extensions put in with destiny. She made the entire process seamless and easy for me. I was nervous about going in because I have super thin hair but she did an amazing job!! Super happy with the results and her work.

The day before discovering Stubborn Hair, I got hair extensions somewhere else. It was my first time getting them, and while I think they did them fine, I woke up with some buyer's remorse. I just wasn't comfortable with the placement, the length, or the volume. I wasn't even sure anything could be done, but at the very least, I wanted the hair trimmed a bit. I lucked out in finding Stubborn Hair nearby, and I walked in unannounced on a Sunday, without an appointment. Well, I totally lucked out. Eddie welcomed me in, listened to me whine, and then calmly told me how he can help. I could tell in 60 seconds that he really knows what he's doing. He doesn't take a cookie cutter approach to his client-- he assessed exactly what would work best for me, my lifestyle, my own daily styling capabilities (or lack thereof ), and even exactly where on my head I like to wear my pony tail. By the time I left, my extensions had been redone in a way that was more "me", and I got an A+ hair cut too. To top it all off, Eddie has a fantastic personality- just really easy to be around. He and Ksenia both provided top quality, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. It's apparent that this is a real passion for them both. Outstanding. So happy to have stumbled upon Stubborn Hair!

It took a while when I first moved to Miami to find a stylist specializing in both barbering /fading and advanced cutting techniques. Luckily I found Eddie, Eyad Alta and have stopped the search. Simply one of the best in Miami. Gorgeous new ultra clean and bright ‘Stubborn Hair salon makes it well worth the drive from South Beach.

This place is perfect. A clean, intimate and upscale salon in Wynwood, where Eddy cuts, colors and styles you back to feeling great. Open on the 7th floor to east, south and west views of all of Wynwood, so you get plenty of light to see your hair, whether colored or not. The service you receive when visiting makes you feel comfortable, safe and almost at home. Would highly recommend.

Eddie is an amazing stylist. He transforms my hair from an embarrassing disaster to runway ready. His professionalism, patience, knowledge of products, and ability to personalize his services to correct “stubborn” hair will keep me coming back again and again. Eddie has been cutting my hair for the last 5 years! I'm so thankful that he's established his new venture. As soon as you walk in you immediately find yourself at home. The setup is unlike your "come on back we're ready for you" experience. You walk in and you immediately feel at home and the setup allows for conversation between you and other clients, which is a great experience because you can actually "network" and meet people instead of just sitting in a waiting area reading magazines! Eddie has managed to merge a haircut and a social in one place. The service is exactly what you'd expect and more - tired of sitting? Take in the amazing views from one of the two balconies overlooking Miami! No other salon anywhere offers that! And as always his haircuts are always sharp - pun intended.
